AKSU/SUARDI was founded in 2007 by S. Aksu and his partner Silvia Suardi, and operates in the sectors of OFFICE FURNITURE, GENERAL FURNISHINGS, PRODUCT DESIGN and INTERIOR DESIGN (commercial spaces, restaurants and bars, residences), ART DIRECTION AND STRATEGIC CONSULTING.
Studio AKSU/SUARDI always experiments with new paths towards a better understanding of design, combining good design (Italy) and functionality (Germany). S.Aksu always goes beyond the limits to achieve the best possible result for every product/project designed using advanced technologies, new materials and colors (MFC).
Recycling, nature-friendly materials, evolution and innovation are important keywords.

S.Aksu has been creative director of ADDO Office Furniture since 2018, then of ORKA Bathroom Furnuiture and NOBBAGNO since 2022.
In addition to design projects, AKSU/SUARDI also designs residences, restaurants, bars, offices, showrooms and installation/display stands for various clients.
For many years S. Aksu taught the Master in Industrial and Product Design at the IED in Milan, and currently holds lessons at the Domus Academy in Milan with Master Class students from all over the world.He has also held conferences at countless cultural events, such as Istanbul Design Week, Salone del Mobile in Milan, at ADI Design Museum, CIFF Guangzhou. He has participated as a juror in several design competitions.
